Sub
Categories
Three categories have a large
number of names in them requiring further breakdown into sub categories.
These are:

Human Names
- where the names origin can be selected for example: Irish,
Hebrew, English etc.

Foreign Names
- similar to Human Names which includes origins such as Japanese,
African , Russian etc.

Appearance
- where certain physical characteristics can be chosen such
as Size, Markings or Colour ( Blonde, Brunette or Redhead)
etc.

Name responses will return in alphabetical order. Depending
upon the category, responses will provide the following details;

information, usually historical, relating to the name
- Screen - where the name
has cartoon or movie usage or origins
Popularity Ratings
Popular names are rated with up to a maximum of
5 bones (dog) or fishbones (cat) in each of the responses.We also rank the top 200 American and Australian
most popular Dog & Cat names. These appear as numbers next
to the flags of each country at the end of each detailed name
